About Stack Finder
About Stack Finder: a GTM consultancy built by operators who've lived in the trenches
Stack Finder was founded by Max Hoffer—an operator who's spent his career helping companies from Seed stage to Post-IPO build, fix, and scale their technology infrastructure.
Max has worked across every department of the business from Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Legal, HR, and Customer Success. He's helped shape tech stacks for SMBs, mid-market, private enterprise, and publicly traded companies. His focus: minimizing ERP spend first, consolidating to unify data sources, architecting integrations to prevent data silos, and ensuring downstream reporting stays clean.
His adaptability and resilience across SaaS, Enterprise, ABM/PBM, SMB, Startup, RevOps, MarOps, CRO, PLG, HRTech, LegalTech, MarTech, and Cybersecurity make him uniquely positioned to stitch together interdepartmental goals for aligned success. Often spotting process inefficiencies through data and context that most single-vertical consultants miss.
Our philosophy
Data foundations first. Before recommending a single tool, we understand your data foundation—where it lives, how it flows, and where the silos are.
Campaign Operations & Foundational Infrastructure. You cannot scale if your data plumbing is broken and not built for capturing clean data. Garbage in, garbage out. Clean data lets AI make more concrete and predictable decisions by working off reliable inputs.
Integrations before new tools. We look at outcome of tool connectivity. Adding new software before understanding your existing ecosystem just creates more noise and technical debt.
Human-in-the-loop, always. AI is your intern, not your competitor. We use ChatGPT, Claude, and similar AI assistants to draft the standard parts, then add the human layer—the anecdotes, the warnings, the "this happened to me in 2022" stories that no model can replicate.
Adoption over features. The best tool is the one your team will actually use. We build detailed competitive matrices, work with stakeholders to align on outputs, and ensure integrations fit team requirements because tools without adoption become technical debt.

What is a Tech Stack?
A tech stack, also known as a technology stack or technology infrastructure, is a set of programs or software tools that work together to help power your business.
Stack Finder helps small and medium-sized businesses find, manage, and optimize the right software tools for a modern-day tech stack. We focus on tools that identify new areas of opportunity, software that integrates easily, and revenue stacks that drive new sources of revenue.
Small companies stand to benefit the most from AI adoption, leveling the playing field against enterprise. And enterprise teams with limited budgets gain access to a growth consultancy model that delivers outsized ROI without the agency price tag.
